I’ve had an absolute dogshit day. My brain is in the TOILET. Counting down to 4:30 so I can fuck off from work. Going to go take out my frustration on the oriental bittersweet and pretend I don’t want to die.

So I dropped almost 2 dozen duck eggs on the floor (this picture is mid clean up)
Luckily I can just give them right back to the ducks for extra protein and calcium… but what’s the in the corner of the greenhouse?
Secret hidden nest, I’m not even sure how they wiggled their way in there, these were a bitch to extract.
After work I ran outside to take out my frustrations on the yard work.
Moved some dirt around to fill in all the rodent holes in the dog area near the deck. Between the mast year and the extremely heavy snow over the winter our rodent population exploded here on the mountain. When all the snow melted we were left with a huge network of tunnels and bunkers to fill in.
Luckily Jiji was here to help.
Finally got this firepit thing moved to the deck as well. This thing weighs a ton! It was a freebie from my friend’s parents who sold their house and moved out of state. They were kind enough to deliver it for me and dropped it in the driveway in the fall but its so heavy I couldn’t get it up the hill around to the deck. With the power of rage I can do anything!! Got it up the hill, around the house and boosted up onto the deck yippee!
Both dogs came out to supervise me filling up the duck feeder.
